Bechtel is seeking a Lead Commissioning Specialist for the Reston, VA area to lead mechanical CSU activities on a data center project. The role supports preconstruction planning, startup, commissioning, and initial operation of mechanical systems, coordinating with electrical, instrumentation and controls teams on testing and turnover.

The position may start in Reston, Houston, or Pecos, TX, and will move to a long-term assignment on site in Pecos.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (or international equivalent) required.
• 8–10 years relevant experience, or 12–14 years overall.

Responsabilités

• Assist Commissioning Manager in mechanical CSU activities at the project.
• Plan and execute startup, commissioning, and initial operation of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and control teams.
• Prepare test procedures and system turnover documentation.
• Support training material development for client personnel.
