Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Process Cost Manager for our Boise team to support a semiconductor client. You will lead conceptual estimating, budget development, cost planning, and life-cycle costing, shaping budgets early in the project lifecycle.

The role requires a BS in Construction related field and 7+ years of mechanical estimating experience, with MRICS/AssocRICS or CCP/ CEP preferred. Cleanroom install validation and on-site work are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Experience: more than 7+ years' experience post undergraduate degree in related field with mechanical process estimating.

Responsibilities

• Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity take offs from plans/specs or from conceptual info.
• Review and define scope of work per project documents.
• Build up unit costs based on labor and material rate structures.
• Develop and nurture subcontractor/vendor and client relationships.
• Evaluate change orders and peer review of estimates.
• Support risk and value management exercises on projects.
