Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Mechanical Controls Systems Support Engineer to provide global technical support for the AWS Control System (ACS) and related control infrastructure across data centers.

You will ensure reliable operation of BMS/EPMS platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance. The role emphasizes problem-solving, system engineering, and contributing to continuous improvement with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or 4+ years of industrial controls experience.
5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience.
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) — Schneider EBO/SBO, Siemens, Tridium/Niagara.
Experience with Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) — Schneider PSO, ABB, Eaton Foreseer, FactoryTalk.

Responsibilities

Significant and autonomous contributor with consistently high-quality work.
Focuses on major portions of controls systems across multiple builds and locations.
Develops standard design and configuration templates that improve the overall system.
Delivers medium to large technology projects that are time-bound and business-critical.
Participates in full system development life cycle.
