Diamond Peak Recruiting is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead complex HVAC, plumbing and piping projects across Western Massachusetts, including Northampton. You will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, develop schedules and budgets, and coordinate with owners, contractors and field teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of mechanical construction or project management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Experience managing projects for a mechanical contractor.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, change orders, and cost control.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project or similar software.

Responsabilités

• Manage mechanical construction projects from planning through completion.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, and process-piping scopes.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with owners, GCs, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Manage equipment and material procurement to maintain schedules.
• Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and profitability.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Partner with field leadership to resolve scheduling and constructability issues.
• Ensure work complies with project requirements, safety standards, and quality.
• Manage commissioning, punch-list, turnover, and closeout documentation.
