Job summary

Gate Energy is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Lead to oversee planning and execution of mechanical commissioning activities for the project. The role supports the Commissioning Manager and Engineers, ensures timely completion of deliverables, and mentors field personnel.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in commissioning, an engineering or technical degree, and strong communication and leadership skills. Travel within the US, offshore and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in commissioning.
• Engineering degree or technical qualification required.
• Working knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements and restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning planning and execution for mechanical scopes.
• Mentor field supervisors and technicians.
• Develop commissioning and system test plans and other project deliverables.
• Coordinate with the Commissioning Manager, Engineers and HSSE standards.
• Prepare inspection records and QA/QC documentation.
• Interface with project team and client turnover/acceptance process.
