GATE Energy is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Technician to execute commissioning on facility electrical devices and systems under the direction of Senior Technicians, Supervisors, and Discipline Leads. The role requires at least 2 years in commissioning, a technical qualification, strong teamwork and communication, HSSE awareness, and travel within the US, offshore, and internationally.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience.
• Technical qualification or technical institute background preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and energy facility control systems.
• Ability to travel within the US, offshore, and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out commissioning activities as directed by the manager.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Conduct commissioning checks on LV and MV switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, motors, lighting.
• Document results using inspections and system procedures.
• Ensure HSSE compliance and raise punch lists when needed.
• Maintain licenses and certifications to meet client requirements.
• Lead Technician personnel and mentor as required.
