Job summary

TUSA TAKRAF USA Inc in Denver, Colorado, is seeking an experienced engineer to assist in CAD modelling and drafting for bulk material handling systems. The role involves producing complex drawings, preparing layouts, and supporting design efforts while mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate has six or more years of experience in the bulk material handling industry and CAD experience, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Bilingual skills in Spanish and German are considered a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university is preferred but not required.
Six or more years related experience in the bulk material handling industry.
Five to six years of CAD experience.
Bilingual in Spanish and German is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Produce complex drawings that meet client specifications in 2D and 3D.
Prepare and interpret scale drawings, schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids.
Gather information and produce drawings for specific projects.
Review drawings for accuracy, revise and update drawings for approval by customers.
Prepare drawings for release to fabrication.
Support design efforts with detailed dimensional calculations to verify configurations and layouts.
Mentor other Technicians and Junior Mechanical Designers.
