Job summary

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5–15+ years of industry experience in FEA or multiphysics modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Ansys (Mechanical / Workbench; APDL preferred).
• Ability to correlate simulation results with physical testing.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Experience driving design decisions through analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced FEA and multiphysics simulations for design optimization.
• Own analysis activities end-to-end from setup to validation.
• Perform linear/nonlinear structural, thermal, vibration, and multiphysics analyses.
• Translate results into actionable design improvements for performance and reliability.
• Partner with engineering and process teams on modeling approaches and validation strategies.
• Design and support test plans to correlate models with experimental data.
• Influence product architecture through physics-based insights.
• Serve as technical reviewer and SME for modeling across programs.
• Establish and promote best practices in simulation and engineering rigor.
• Mentor and support engineers in developing modeling skills.
