Job summary

Durr Universal, located in Stoughton, United States, seeks an experienced Designer to develop and modify products using 3D CAD. You will work closely with Engineering to produce accurate drawings, BOMs and documentation while applying design for manufacturability principles.

The role requires significant independence, attention to detail, and occasional travel. Proficiency with Creo and AutoCAD is preferred, with archival of revisions and data management critical to success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical drafting or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in design or drafting.
• Proficient in 3D CAD; Creo preferred; 2D CAD with AutoCAD Mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Use 3D CAD to develop and modify products or systems.
• Create and review general arrangement drawings and BOMs.
• Process engineering work requests and ensure drawings meet standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and plant staff on proposals and drawings.
• Maintain drawing revision control and document practices.
• Perform sizing calculations under supervision and assist field measurements.
• Support design and installation requirements as needed.
• Travel up to 10% domestically.
