Job summary

Gills Point S Tire is seeking an experienced Mechanic Level 2 to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles in a fast-paced shop, delivering safe, reliable transport for customers. You’ll work alongside a skilled team committed to quality workmanship and exceptional service, with opportunities for growth, ASE certifications, and company-supported training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or technical automotive training preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required; willingness to pursue with company support.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform repair work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and power/tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine concerns and perform tune-ups.
• Inspect and repair suspension, steering, and brakes.
• Diagnose electrical/electronic systems and repair wiring.
• Service HVAC components and refrigerants per regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and communicate with customers.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology.
