Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Level 1 Mechanic to join our shop team. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of vehicle systems while upholding our commitment to safe, quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems across a variety of vehicles.
• Accurately identify repair needs through diagnostics and inspection.
• Maintain documentation of repairs and service history.
• Demonstrate careful attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Willingness to pursue ASE certs with company support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Perform tune-ups, preventative maintenance, and routine inspections.
• Use diagnostic equipment and shop tools safely and effectively.
• Communicate with customers and Service Advisors about repairs and needs.
• Maintain accurate service records and safety procedures.
