Herc Rentals in Summerville, SC is seeking a Mechanic B to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will diagnose engines, hydraulics, and fuel systems, mentor junior mechanics, and ensure work orders and logs are completed accurately.

The role offers a 2,500 sign-on bonus, a Monday–Friday schedule, weekly pay, and full benefits with a 401(k) match. Experience in heavy equipment repair and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Formación

• 2 years of heavy equipment repair experience.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Owns a selection of hand and air/electric tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance on all Herc owned fleet.
• Operate and test equipment to ensure quality standards.
• Diagnose engines, hydraulics, propane systems, and fuel systems.
• Perform repairs with minimal supervision and document work orders.
• Train C Mechanics under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and generate repair logs.
