Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
• 5+ years of plant manufacturing experience in meat processing
• Strong knowledge of meat science principles and ingredients
• Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations
• Experience with experimental design and analysis
• Ability to communicate technical information to both scientists and plant staff
• Willingness to travel up to 40%
• Proven interpersonal and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute experiments to drive product development and process optimization
• Provide technical support to plant QA and operations on food quality, chemistry, and production issues
