Walmart Inc. in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter to join our Sam's Club team. You will work with associates to meet member expectations, cutting, slicing, grinding and wrapping meat to high standards.

You will use handheld tech and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving sales while ensuring food safety and shrink control. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $27.00 per hour with benefits and education programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicating effectively and developing interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
• Handle meat processing steps including cutting, slicing, grinding and wrapping while maintaining food safety standards and inventory management.
• Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment and work areas to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience with the member in mind.
• Support profitability and reduce waste while ensuring products are properly packaged, labeled and stored.
