Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management, and operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and improve associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring quality standards, eliminating waste, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assisting members with purchasing, and proper packaging and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, interacting with associates to understand challenges, and assisting in training.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and other partners, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
