Job summary

Walmart in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter to lead the meat department, cutting, slicing, grinding and wrapping products to meet specifications for our members. You will ensure high quality, fresh stock and accurate labeling while maintaining sanitation and inventory controls.

You will also train teammates, use handheld tools to boost sales, and uphold Walmart's standards of integrity and service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Position requires completing trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Operate meat processing tasks including cutting, slicing, grinding and wrapping to meet specs.
• Maintain in stock levels and control shrinkage while ensuring food safety.
• Use handheld technology to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
• Train and mentor teammates and enforce company policies and standards.
