Position Summary...
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure quality standards, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, executing tasks at the highest level, and training associates.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in business practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by utilizing policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek improvement opportunities; and adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding local minimum wages. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
Minimum Qualifications...
6 months’ experience in a fresh production department. Must be 18 years or older. Successful completion of required training and assessments within prescribed timeframes is required.
Preferred Qualifications...
Optional qualifications include experience in meat processing areas.
