As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively; develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; is flexible to the needs of the business; tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations; processes meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to do the same.
- Be an Owner: Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a clean and organized work area, ensures product quality, reduces waste, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing, and ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products; performs duties at the highest quality; interacts with associates to identify and address roadblocks; assists in training.
- Follows company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards; implements related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in business practices.
- Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritizes tasks; communicates progress; seeks improvements; learns from feedback and change.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00*, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage; additional premiums may apply in specific circumstances.
