As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the members’ expectations.
Be a Team Member – collaborate with cross-functional teams, help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
Be an Expert – maintain an in-depth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage and back-room operations, and provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) while ensuring compliance with food-safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
Be a Techie – leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and adapt to new tools while encouraging others to use them.
Be an Owner – drive the business results, ensure commitment to operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a work area according to company policies, and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise. Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.

Execute basics at the highest possible level, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist them to perform job-related duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
