Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Data Management Manager to lead data operations across patient data sources, ensuring quality and compliance. You will architect and optimize ETL pipelines, integrate cloud data platforms, and drive governance for patient data assets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust BI reporting using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker while supporting multiple brands and data sources in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field with 3+ years in data management or analyst roles.
• Experience in data modeling and ETL for data warehouses with SQL or Python to build scalable data pipelines.
• Experience architecting cloud-based data solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) and using Databricks, Snowflake, or Dataiku.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance in regulated environments.
• Experience building BI reporting solutions with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Responsibilities

• Gather data requirements for onboarding patient data sources and programs.
• Implement end-to-end data curation for PSP/SP data sources.
• Link first/third-party patient data assets for longitudinal analytics.
• Lead day-to-day patient data operations across brands and vendors.
• Respond to data inquiries from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify and monitor data quality issues and enforce governance.
