Job summary

Ladd & Co. in Miami seeks a Managing Director to originate and lead client relationships across advisory mandates, from origination through to close.

You will work with UHNW families, family offices, and institutional principals, coordinating cross‑functional execution teams to deliver transactions. The role requires a senior practice leader with a strong network and a track record of initiating and closing engagements within M&A, capital placement, and related advisory services in the Miami

Qualifications

• 12 to 20 years of experience in related advisory fields.
• MD or equivalent standing with a proven originations track record.
• Established personal networks among business owners, family offices, and senior referrals.
• Ability to represent the firm independently at senior levels.
• Comfort working within a performance-based compensation structure.

Responsibilities

• Originate advisory mandates across M&A, capital placement, co-investment, and international structuring.
• Lead senior relationships with UHNW families, family offices, founders, and institutional investors in Miami and nearby markets.
• Manage engagements from first meeting through to close, coordinating deal teams.
• Represent the firm at the principal level in client and counterparty settings.
• Maintain and grow referral relationships across legal, tax, and private banking professionals.
