Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an MCAD Tools Application Engineer to deliver and maintain a robust MCAD toolset alongside database management for electrical design, layout, and simulation teams.

You will tailor features for Siemens NX, integrate CAD with enterprise systems, and collaborate across engineering, IT, and program teams to support a fast-paced satellite development program with a focus on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in CAD software customization, with a strong focus on Siemens NX.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python and other .NET languages.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and product lifecycle management (PLM) concepts.
• Experience integrating CAD systems with other enterprise software (e.g., PLM, ERP, simulation tools).

Responsibilities

• Provide a stable, reliable set of MCAD tools and database management for electrical engineering design, layout, and simulation engineers.
• Anticipate tool needs, develop custom features and functionality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support and create processes to enable rapid development of a leading-edge satellite constellation.
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
