Job summary

Telesis in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior MBSE Engineer to lead Model-Based Systems Engineering across missile-defense programs. You will develop SysML models, capture system behaviors, structures and interfaces, and ensure traceability from requirements to architecture artifacts.

The ideal candidate has a DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years' experience in large DoD programs, and hands-on experience with Cameo, SysML, DoDAF/UAF, and related MBSE tools.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in missile defense or large DoD programs.
• Proficiency with SysML and DoDAF/UAF; hands-on MBSE tooling experience.
• Strong ability to distill complex architectures into clear diagrams and docs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SysML system models capturing behavior, structure, interfaces, and requirements.
• Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability to architecture artifacts.
• Link MBSE models with simulations and data repositories for Digital Engineering.
• Prepare artifacts for milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, CCBs).
• Conduct architectural trade studies and analyze ICDs/IDDs to resolve gaps.
• Maintain version control and configuration baseline for SysML models.
