Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Member of Engineering Staff (SMES) for C3 programs in Camden, NJ. The role focuses on developing integrated communication systems, analyzing requirements, and ensuring successful integration and validation of the overall system architecture.

The SMES collaborates with hardware and software engineers, performs SEIT activities, and leverages MBSE tools across the lifecycle, with a requirement to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with at least 6 years of related experience.
• Experience applying MBSE principles to support architecture development, requirements management, design analysis, integration and verification.
• Knowledge of military/mission-critical communications environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE principles to support system architecture development, requirements management, design analysis, integration and verification throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional teams including hardware and software engineers to ensure integration, testing and validation of the system architecture.
• Analyze system requirements, perform signal processing and data analysis for end-to-end comms systems.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate efforts and resolve cross-team issues.
