Job summary

MaxAccelerate is seeking a Senior Maximo SME Technical/Functional Application Developer for a remote 12-24 month contract, with options for full-time or part-time engagement. The role focuses on customizing IBM Maximo, upgrades to MAS 8, and leading technical discussions with stakeholders.

You will deliver configuration, integration work, documentation, and support to ensure asset-management excellence across global operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a technical functional resource in IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management software.
• Proficiency with IBM Maximo 7.x or exposure to MAS 8, including configuration, integration framework, Java, BIRT and Cognos reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure IBM Maximo solutions to meet business objectives.
• Address and resolve issues during upgrade paths to MAS 8.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of changes and implementations.
• Provide technical functional support for Maximo applications.
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and deliver best-practice Maximo solutions.
• Help ensure project milestones and schedules are met.
