Parkland Community Health Plan is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse Clinician in Maternal Health to coordinate patient care for a defined population. The role emphasizes nursing assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the health care team in a high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license (or compact license), BLS, and ACLS/ALS certification, with at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience; acute care preferred.
• Current, valid RN license or compact license for Texas; RN licensure required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ALS or ACLS certification required upon hire or placement.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct nursing care to assigned maternal health patient populations per Texas Nursing Practice Act and Parkland standards.
• Coordinates care with multidisciplinary team and communicates patient condition changes to physicians.
• Completes thorough documentation and ensures accuracy in patient records.
• Serves as a preceptor or trainer and supports department goals and quality initiatives.
• Maintains infection control, safety, and compliance with regulations and Parkland policies.
