Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA seeks a Senior Materials Scientist to develop polymers for cutting-edge 3D printing. You will design experiments, validate materials from lab to production, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless printing.

The role requires a strong background in polymer science, hands-on testing, data-driven decision making, and a PhD/MS/BS in a relevant field. Bonus: SLA/DLP or SLS experience; programming skills in Python or MATLAB.

  • Design and perform experiments, analyzing results to drive material performance improvements.
  • Partner with product management and engineering to continuously improve materials and processes.
