Baker Hughes in Houston is seeking a Materials Leader HTC to guide master production planning, materials management, and scheduling to align with KPIs. You will bridge Logistics, Sales, Materials, and Production to optimize inventory and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in materials and production planning, with at least 3+ years in leadership managing planning teams in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in materials and production planning.
• Experience leading planning, scheduling, and materials teams in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MPS, MRP, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead master production planning and material processes across planning systems.
• Prepare, maintain, and update production schedules and purchasing requirements.
• Ensure execution aligns with the approved plan and KPIs.
• Optimize inventory while supporting production flexibility and commitments.
• Interface with Logistics, Sales, Materials, and Production teams.
• Coordinate demand, supply, and capacity constraints to support priorities.
• Communicate schedule requirements with suppliers and customers.
• Track manufacturing progress against delivery commitments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in planning and execution.
