Job summary

Vantage Elevation, LLC is seeking a proactive Materials & Procurement Manager to lead inventory control, purchasing, receiving, warehousing and shipping for the Elevator Controls team in Sacramento, CA. You will partner with local leadership to improve on-time delivery, optimize inventory turns, and drive supplier performance while controlling site costs.

A strong background in MRP/ERP and team leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
• Minimum five years of progressive material planning, purchasing and warehousing/distribution experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience leading teams.
• MRP/ERP system experience is required; CPQ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage purchasing, inventory, and shipping operations.
• Develop and maintain MRP systems to ensure on-time schedule completion.
• Control inventory levels, turns, days on hand, and lead cycle count program.
• Manage excess, slow-moving, and obsolete material and coordinate with finance on write-offs.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize product flow and output.
• Ensure accurate BOM, routing, and costs before production release.
• Manage supplier performance to optimize PPV, on-time delivery, and quality.
• Maintain system planning parameters to optimize inventory levels and fill rates.
• Oversee warehouse conditions and layout improvements; add new products to valid locations.
• Coordinate inbound freight and cross-train staff; communicate actions to all levels.
