Job summary

Vantage Elevation is seeking a Materials & Procurement Manager for Sacramento, CA. You will oversee inventory control, purchasing, receiving, warehousing and shipping, driving on-time delivery and supplier performance.

Lead a team, optimize PPV, lead cycle counts, and collaborate with engineering and finance to align product flow and costs. This role requires a BS in Supply Chain or related field and 5+ years of material planning experience, with CPQ and MR P/ERP experience; Visual 9 and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required.
Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in material planning, purchasing & warehousing/distribution.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading teams.
MRP/ERP system experience required.
CPQ system experience preferred.
Visual 9 experience preferred.
SIOP experience a plus.
Professional Certification (APICS, ISM, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Directly manage purchasing, inventory, and shipping operations.
Develop and maintain MRP systems, ensuring on-time schedule completion.
Control all inventory levels/turns/days on hand and lead cycle count program.
Manage excess, slow-moving, and obsolete material reconciliation with finance.
Collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize product flow and cost.
Ensure correct system/part setup for production release (BOM, routing, cost).
Manage supplier performance to optimize PPV, on-time delivery, and quality.
Maintain inventory parameters to optimize levels, safety stocks, and fill rates.
