Job summary

Amy is seeking a Senior Materials Planner in California to ensure the continuous availability of direct materials for finished goods production across multiple plants. You will manage end-to-end planning, translate signals into replenishment decisions, and balance service, inventory, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, operations, engineering, or equivalent.
• 4–6 years' experience in Materials Planning, Supply Planning, or Purchasing, and inventory management.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, including configuration and optimization of planning parameters.
• Experience using Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end planning for defined material portfolios across multiple plants.
• Analyze MRP outputs, identify systemic demand/supply risks, and make independent adjustments to ordering logic, timing, and quantities.
• Manage the full lifecycle of POs and material replenishment decisions, adjusting order timing, quantities, and sourcing logic to optimize supply continuity.
• Proactively anticipate shortages and lead mitigation planning with suppliers, sourcing, logistics, and manufacturing teams.
• Own KPI performance for assigned material portfolios, driving measurable improvements in service levels, inventory turns, and shortage prevention.
• Collaborate with procurement to improve supplier reliability and align with production priorities.
