The Judge Group seeks an experienced Materials Manager in Georgia to lead material flow, planning, and supplier relationships in a manufacturing setting near Savannah. You will drive production scheduling, inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and procurement to optimize operations.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or operations leadership.
Experience with ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of inventory control, production planning, warehousing, shipping, and procurement.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; consumer packaged goods preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead production scheduling to maximize operational efficiency and meet customer demand.
Manage inventory planning, storage, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials and critical supplies.
Oversee shipping, receiving, and material movement activities.
Monitor inventory levels, forecasts, and production requirements to ensure material availability.
Partner with planning, procurement, quality, and product development teams on material and product changes.
Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.
Oversee local purchasing of maintenance, repair, operating (MRO) materials.
Maintain supplier agreements and supporting documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve materials flow, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
