Job summary

System One in Wheatfield, IN is seeking a Material Manager III for a 6-month onsite contract. The role leads procurement and materials management for large industrial projects, coordinating between field teams and home office to ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of project materials.

Responsibilities cover policy enforcement, staff hiring and training, supplier data integrity, and logistics oversight for inbound and outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of large/mega industrial construction in Materials Management.
• Experience managing large teams and coordinating efforts between multiple construction teams.
• Experience in Oracle Procurement/Inventory desirable.
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce procurement policies and guidelines.
• Manage project materials mobilization and demobilization.
• Staff and train personnel for materials and data entry.
• Oversee PM tracking and inventory-related maintenance.
• Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Interface with Procurement, Expediting, Project Management, and clients.
• Support Advanced Work Packaging activities.
• Track metrics and report performance.
