University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking a Supply Technician Senior for Materials Management on 1st shift at the Main Campus in Jackson, MS. You will manage inventory, stock, and replenishment systems while collaborating with staff and leadership to meet department goals.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of stocking or inventory experience; proficiency with spreadsheets and inventory software is expected. OSHA and TIC awareness are beneficial.

Formación

• Must have solid computer skills and be able to navigate spreadsheets/databases.
• Experience with inventory management methods and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Audit and manage replenishment system and resolve issues.
• Operate replenishment software according to policies.
• Setup area with scales, controllers, downloaders, probes, and carts.
• Monitor stock expiration and rotation, report issues.
• Maintain and control inventory for assigned areas.
• Deliver and verify incoming shipments and materials.
• Place purchase requisitions for stock items as required.
• Occasionally act as shift team lead and assign tasks.
• Open/close internal orders per policy and document changes.
