Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to lead end-to-end material strategy for assigned programs. The role partners with Program Management, Procurement, Planning, Operations, and Engineering to align material requirements with cost, schedule, and commitments.

The MPM leads a team of Material Program Managers, provides visibility into material position, and ensures timely actions to resolve material issues before impacting production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior related management experience; or a Graduate Degree or equivalent with 7 years of prior related management experience; or a minimum of 13 years of prior related management experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Material Program Managers and provide day-to-day direction.
• Own and drive the integrated material strategy for assigned programs.
• Lead material readiness reviews and manage risks with clear ownership.
• Communicate status, risks and decisions to leadership.
