Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant supply chain experience; or Graduate Degree with 4 years.
• Travel up to 10% to other facilities and supplier locations nationwide.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes.
• Ability to use technical knowledge and experience to evaluate plans, processes and results.
• Working knowledge of program planning, integrated master scheduling, budgeting and earned value management.
• Ability to implement product design and development stage gate process (reviews for design, build, and test).
• Experience in leading, encouraging, reviewing and critiquing work of supporting team members.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and to make real-time plan adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and lead all material requirements, material budgets, and supply chain deliverables for assigned programs.
• Develop and deliver monthly material cost forecasts and quarterly EAC projections for program leadership and customers.
• Lead and direct integrated cross-functional material teams, collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Manage time and resources across multiple programs, prioritizing critical path activities.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies for development and production proposals submitted to Government and Prime Contractor programs.
• Drive affordability initiatives and supplier performance improvement programs, including quality enhancement efforts.
• Escalate and resolve material-related issues, risks, and roadblocks with suppliers and customers.
• Support negotiation of subcontracts with critical suppliers based on specialized technology requirements.
• Partner in developing supplier baseline program plans, including budget and schedule baselines.
• Assist and provide input in contract negotiations with strategic suppliers.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to peers, customers, suppliers, and senior management.
• Serve as the primary Supply Chain representative and customer-facing point of contact for all material program matters.
