Job summary

RTX in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Planning and Production Control Specialist to drive material planning and production control across multiple programs. This onsite role supports the Tewksbury location and requires coordinating material flow to meet contractual schedules.

The role emphasizes leading production control through all life cycle phases, with responsibilities spanning from planning to execution and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Material analysis experience working within an MRP system or similar systems.
• Experience with SAP, PRISM and/or related tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage material planning and production control on high mix / low volume programs.
• Ensure delivery of product meets contract schedule and customer requirements.
• Oversee supply chain activities from proposal through contract closure.
• Plan inventory, BOM requirements, and production material across programs.
• Analyze material supply/demand using MRP tools and coordinate procurement.
• Generate purchase requisitions and place purchase orders as needed.
• Coordinate disposition of subassemblies and materials per Engineering Change Notices.
