Applied Composites is seeking a Material Planning Manager in Brea, CA to lead material planning, inventory optimization, and supply planning for manufacturing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 7+ years in material planning or supply chain, and 3+ years in leadership. Strong MRP knowledge and ERP/MRP experience are essential for ensuring material availability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or production planning.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory management, production planning, and supply chain principles.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
• Develop and execute material planning strategies to optimize inventory and material flow.
• Lead, coach and develop Material Planners and assigned Supply Chain team members.
• Oversee MRP execution, inventory planning, shortage management, and production readiness.
• Partner with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Program Management and Finance to align plans with priorities.
• Establish standardized planning processes, procedures and best practices across the organization.
