Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage MRP activities within SAP.
  • Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and production schedules to ensure material availability.
  • Analyze SAP MRP outputs and address shortages, excess inventory, and supply disruptions.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and suppliers to maintain on-time material flow.
  • Maintain accurate material master data, planning parameters, and inventory records in SAP.
  • Track and report KPIs related to inventory, service levels, and supplier performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization and supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide flexible support to Spare Parts organization and assist with part-number identification.

Job description

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  • Execute and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities within SAP.
  • Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and production schedules to ensure material availability.
  • Analyze SAP MRP outputs and take appropriate actions to address shortages, excess inventory, and supply disruptions.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and suppliers to maintain on-time material flow.
  • Maintain accurate material master data, planning parameters, and inventory records in SAP.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, service levels, and supplier performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization and supply chain efficiency.
Nonessential Functions – Spare Parts Management
  • Provide flexible support to the Spare Parts organization based on business priorities and customer requirements.
  • Assist with part-number identification and cross-referencing for legacy and obsolete equipment.
  • Support the identification of replacement, superseded, and alternative parts.
  • Review inventory levels and help identify excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and critical spare parts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with SAP ERP, including MRP and inventory management functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and supply chain planning processes.
  • Ability to work effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, and Spare Parts organizations.
  • Self-starter with a customer service focus
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus (Business Intelligence is desired)
