Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a skilled Material Manager to lead the material management function on large-scale construction projects. You will direct Material Coordinators and Expediters, manage the full material lifecycle, and ensure timely delivery to field sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement, project teams, and vendors, maintaining accurate inventory in company systems, and enforcing safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in material management, logistics, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or related roles; construction material management experience preferred.
• Experience leading material, logistics, or inventory teams and supervising Material Coordinators/Expediters is preferred.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction projects with high material volumes and field distribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage material management for large-scale construction projects, directing Material Coordinators and Material Expediters.
• Oversee material lifecycle from receiving to installation, including storage, tracking, and delivery to field.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving, verify packing slips and PO accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and document damaged/missing materials.
