Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Stratford, CT, is seeking a logistics/planning professional to manage WIP accuracy for a KCA on the shop floor. You will log locations with bar code scanners, organize material flow, and generate daily dispatch lists to keep production moving efficiently.

Responsibilities include cycle-count audits, coordinating with manufacturing engineering, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to labs and workstations while maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of material planning, scheduling, expediting, auditing practices and automated shop floor methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications for work coordination.
• Experience organizing work for a group and coordinating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain WIP accuracy for assigned KCA and use bar code systems to log location and quantity.
• Log jobs to in-work locations, prioritize manufacturing work, and print daily dispatch lists.
• Audit cycle-count data and ensure timely parts delivery to test labs and workstations.
• Requisition and stage tools, replace routing travelers, and update priority lists as needed.
• Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Material Control, and other departments.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and environmental compliance in the work area.
