Job summary

Raymond Storage Concepts is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to design and deliver sophisticated material handling systems, including conveyors, sortation, AS/RS, and robotics. You will guide technical decisions, mentor engineers, and support projects from concept to handoff.

Strong AutoCAD and 3D CAD skills, plus a track record of proposals and system documentation, are essential. Based in Cincinnati, you will work onsite with a team across Sales, Engineering, and Operations, traveling to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
15+ years in the material handling industry.
5+ years creating material handling system drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent.
15+ years of experience with automated sortation technologies and pallet-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead solution design for complex conveyor, sortation, pallet handling, AS/RS, robotic, and integrated material handling systems.
Evaluate customer requirements and determine technologies based on throughput, storage, and objectives.
Develop detailed mechanical drawings for proposals and projects.
Create comprehensive technical proposals with system concepts, specs, pricing, and cost estimates.
Translate engineering concepts into clear proposals, scopes, and operation descriptions.
Prepare Descriptions of Operation and system documentation for customer teams and stakeholders.
