Job summary
Raymond West is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Systems Team, guiding design, estimates, permits, and project execution across warehouse solutions. You will manage engineers and CAD staff, drive performance metrics, and collaborate with sales and project managers to win orders and deliver high-quality solutions.
The role requires a mechanical engineering background with 10+ years in application design and installation of conveyor and materials handling systems, plus strong leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum education: 4-year degree in mechanical engineering.
- 10+ years in application design and installation of conveyor and materials handling systems.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities required.
- Experience with design, estimates, and project submittals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Systems Team engineers, designers, and CAD staff.
- Direct performance, training, and project execution to meet targets.
- Coordinate with Sales, Project Managers and Account Management to align client needs.
- Ensure timely quotes, permits, and documentation for projects.
- Drive KPI alignment and continuous learning within the department.
- Oversee design, estimating, and contract preparation activities.
