Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Sr. Material Handler for its O’Hara facility in Pittsburgh, PA. The role covers general warehouse and materials management, supporting a manufacturing plant with SAP transactions and proper PPE usage.

The position runs Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 3:50 pm, with potential Friday overtime. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, educational assistance, and a bonus program up to 5%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Ability to operate independently and solve problems.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and teamwork.
• SAP proficiency in daily transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advanced understanding of multiple warehouse and materials functions;
• Following of all documented processes and procedures;
• Physical transport of materials and timely and accurate completion for all required SAP transactions using appropriate PPE and material handling equipment;
• Finished product packaging using visual work instructions according to all regulatory requirements;
• Completion of all required transactional steps to receive and ship material;
• Identifying, defining and implementing process improvement or cost savings activities.
