BioFire Diagnostics in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Senior Material Handler to manage the accurate and efficient movement, shipping, and receiving of materials in a warehouse setting. You will support Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves 5S stewardship, inventory counts, labeling, and coordination with cross-functional teams. Occasional truck driving and staff training are possible responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience.
• Experience with regulatory environments (cGMP/ISO/FDA) preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pack orders, verify lot numbers and weights, and prepare carrier documents.
• Receive, process, and label products from manufacturing or suppliers.
• Stock products, maintain 5S, and ensure inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
• Perform physical inventory counts in warehouses and coolers.
• Record material transactions and manage departmental paperwork.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and participate in audits.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory guidelines (cGMP/ISO/FDA).
• May drive a truck to transport materials between locations.
• Provide training to other team members.
• Identify process improvements within the department.
