Nestlé USA in Bohemia, NY is hiring a Senior Material Handler to lead the accurate dispensing and handling of raw materials for production. You will verify labels, document processes, and ensure safety and quality standards, while mentoring teammates.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, with a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift and a 4–5 day onboarding during the first week. Join a supportive, inclusive team focused on safe, efficient operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing or material handling experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift.
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Dispense raw materials according to specifications.
• Verify labels and document dispensing processes accurately.
• Load and unload raw materials; report damage or inconsistencies.
• Scale, measure, and sample materials with precision.
• Support overflow tasks and collaborate across departments.
• Assist with inventory adjustments and cycle counts.
• Mentor peers and support a positive team environment.
• Troubleshoot issues and elevate when needed.
• Enter data using paper forms, computers, or tablets.
• Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned
