Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Senior Material Handler in Bohemia, NY for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). You will lead dispensing of raw materials, verify labels, and document processes to ensure safety and quality.

You’ll mentor teammates and contribute to inventory accuracy in a fast-paced production environment. Role requires 2–3 years of material handling experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with powders and chemicals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing or material handling experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift.
• Comfortable around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.

Responsibilities

• Dispense raw materials according to specifications.
• Verify labels and document dispensing processes accurately.
• Load and unload raw materials; report damage or inconsistencies.
• Scale, measure, and sample materials with precision.
• Support overflow tasks and collaborate across departments.
• Assist with inventory adjustments and cycle counts.
• Mentor peers and support a positive team environment.
• Troubleshoot issues and elevate when needed.
• Enter data using paper forms, computers, or tablets.
• Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
