Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a Senior Material Handler in Mansfield, TX to transport inbound and outbound materials within production cells and support accurate inventory records. You will operate a Class II sit-down forklift, update ERP data, and help ensure on-time production schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have four (4) years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Must be willing to wear PPE.
• Knowledge of 6S standards preferred.
• Experience with IMI Series (AS400) preferred.
• Operate a Class II Sit-Down Forklift, RF Scanner, and Pallet Jack.
• Data updating and navigation in material requirements/planning software.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport inbound/outbound materials within production cells.
• Update data in computer systems including location and inventory counts.
• Verify material move requirements and support daily production schedules.
• Communicate with supervisors to resolve shortages and balance discrepancies.
• Report production parts counts and scrap accurately.
• Assist with material requests and ordering components as needed.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of material handling equipment.
• Adhere to lean manufacturing principles and maintain a clean work area.
