Job summary

Mayzon in New Castle, Delaware, is seeking a Material Handler to move materials and finished goods across production and storage areas. You will operate forklifts, load/unload materials, and ensure timely delivery to workstations to support production flow.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret production documents such as BOMs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Deliver materials to workstations to support production flow.
• Prepare pallets and labels for storage or shipment.
• Document production tickets and related paperwork.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse and logistics teams.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute movement of materials across production and storage areas.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage locations.
• Support production flow by timely delivery of materials to workstations.
• Wrap, label and prepare pallets for storage or shipment.
• Generate, process and verify production tickets and labels.
• Read and interpret BOMs and other production documents.
• Perform inventory transactions in ERP or inventory systems.
• Monitor material usage and support inventory accuracy and control processes.
• Identify and resolve material flow issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE properly.
• Perform other duties within the scope of the role.
