Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Material Handler for our Newark, DE site. This on-site role supports warehouse and manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate material handling, inventory control, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math, and forklift experience; Oracle knowledge is a plus. The position offers day, night, and weekend shifts with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stack lifters preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience with Oracle preferred.
• Basic math and hand tool skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment and Lean Manufacturing systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming deliveries for accuracy, quantity, and quality.
• Label and store materials and products properly.
• Identify, locate, and distribute parts across warehouse and floor.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Complete technical documentation for returned materials.
• Perform Oracle transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
• Inspect material handling equipment regularly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues with shipments.
• Move waste from manufacturing and warehouse areas to disposal locations.
• Assist with improving warehouse procedures to increase efficiency.
• Train new employees using standard job instructions.
• Follow all SOPs, safety requirements, and PPE guidelines.
• Maintain 5S and general housekeeping in warehouse and yard.
